The Side Effects Of Steroids

side effects of steroids

The side effects of steroids are ugly and almost too numerous to list. They range from antisocial behavior and violence to cancer and death.

"Steroids" is the short word for "anabolic steroids". These are strong and dangerous drugs. We hear so much about their use in sports these days that they don't seem to get much more consideration than common aspirin.

Steroid abuse is common. Often due to lack of education, many people use these drugs without any knowledge of the serious possible side effects of steroids.

What Is A Steroid?

Anabolic steroids are powerful synthetic (man made) derivatives of the male hormone testosterone. They are most commonly used to increase protein synthesis within the cells and build tissue mass.

They are so potent that they must be injected into a muscle or taken orally for slow dispersion in to the body. If they are injected directly into a vein or artery they can easily cause death.

Steroid use is dangerous. It should be confined to use only when absolutely necessary for legitimate medical purposes under a physician's care.

They are usually designed to retain the muscle builing factors of testosterone while eliminating the male characteristic factors found in natural male testosterone.

Medical uses of anabolic steroids include:

  • rebuilding of body tissue following debilitating surgery or infection

  • prevention of muscular atrophy in patients who must be inactive for prolonged periods of time

  • supplementing testosterone in males who are deficient in this hormone.

Steroids And Peyronies Disease

A bent penis from the scarring and plaque formation found in Peyronies Disease should never be treated with steroids. The side effects from steroids can cause grave consequences.

First: Anabolic steroids have proven useless for straightening a bent penis.

The reason anabolic steroids are used on a bent penis is to try to soften the scar or plaque that is causing the bending so there will be no pain on erection.

It's idiocy! Steroids are dangerous and should never be used when not absolutely necessary. The theory here is that it is only a small amount used for a limited period of time.

The truth is, these injected steroids migrate from the scar directly into the blood stream and can cause all the usual side effects of steroids.

If immediate improvement of pain on erection is the only desired outcome, injections have also been used that do not have the severe possible side effects of steroids. These include Verapamil and Collagenase.

Side Effects of Steroids

The possible side effects of steroids are both psychological and physical. They can range from annoying, uncomfortable, and disturbing to deadly!

The psychological side effects of steroids can include:

  • ROID RAGE ('ROID' is short for 'Steroid". Named for the extreme aggression that can be triggered by the heightened hormone levels emitted with steroid use)

  • Psychosis

  • Mood swings

  • Mania

  • Excessive Agression

  • Irritability

  • Depression

  • Addiction

These psychological side effects of steroids are all common. Unfortunately, they tend to be the norm rather than the exception.

Steroid use puts testosterone at unusually high levels. This can cause a persons whole personality to change. Users are known to pick fights for no reason and attack people. They very often become a danger to themselves and others.

There have been numerous cases of suicide and homicide related to the use of steroid drugs. These are side effects that should concern people the most. It no longer just involves the user, but everyone around him.

The physical side effects of steroids can include:

  • Breast enlargement in men

  • Atrophy (shrinking) of the testicles

  • Infertility

  • Impotence

  • Severe acne

  • Premature balding voice

  • Lowered blood pressure

  • Bloody diarrhea

  • Heart attack

  • Stroke

  • Death

  • Headache

  • Liver disease

  • Cancer

  • Cardiovascular problems

  • Blood clots

  • High blood pressure

  • Liver tumors

  • Liver dysfunction

  • Immune system dysfunction and suppression

  • Dizziness

  • Chills

  • Fever

  • Drowsiness

  • Bloating, associated with water retention

  • Muscle tremors

  • High pitched voice

  • Seizure-like movements

  • Breathing difficulty

  • Pain and difficulty urinating

  • Nausea

  • Vomiting

  • Greasy skin

WOW!!!

Are those things you really want to risk? Especially when it is unnecessary?

Doesn't it become easy to see that steroid drugs are dangerous entities and should not be used casually? And that the side effects of steroids can be serious physical and psychological damage? Some of the damage is irreversible.

Don't let anyone fool you by telling you that you don't get enough steroids from penis injections to cause you possible physical or mental harm. You very easily could.

Small doses can be very insidious and can cause varying degrees of steroid psychosis.

And, there is no need to risk the side effects of steroids and just because you want to fix a bent penis condition.

The Safe Proven Way
to
Straighten A Penis Without Drugs or Surgery

By now you must agree that the unnecessary use of steroids is totally insane! Especially when there is a safe, medically approved, clinically proven method to straighten a bent penis with NONE of the side effects of steroids.

The method is called "penis traction". It is the safest and surest way to straighten almost ANY bent penis!

Penis traction is so effective that it is now recommended by doctors in 29 countries worldwide.

Simple, Safe and Effective

Penis traction is so simple and easy to do, that once you begin doing it, you will wonder why any man ever would use injections or surgery to relieve a bent penis condition or the pain it can cause.

One caution: Penis traction has become so popular that every discount manufacturer wants to jump on the band wagon and sell penis traction devices. You have to be careful there.

There are currently 23 different manufactures of penis traction devices that I have been able to locate. Only 2 of these have met all my personal requirements for safety and effectiveness.

These two units are Size Genetics and Pro Extenders. Both units are excellent!

These two units are medically endorsed by physicians and both are made of medically approved materials. They also come with a 6 month guarantee that you will get results!

These two companies make the best penis traction devices in the world. A unit only costs about $300. And they are the only thing that 99.99% of men will ever need to straighten a bent penis. They are that good!

Don't try to save $100 on one of the cheaper copy brands. They may look very similar. But the materials and construction are not the same. You could wind up injuring your penis permanently.

Conclusions

There is no need to ever subject yourself to the possible side effects of steroids to correct a bent penis or Peyronies Disease condition.

In study after study, penis traction has been clinically proven to be superior to any other method of bent penis treatment.

Penis traction require no drugs, no injections, no surgery! And penis traction is clinically proven to surpass all other methods in safety and effectiveness without any of the side effects of steroids.

Be Well.....
